When do I need to place my order?

All orders placed before 2PM PST Monday-Thursday will be shipped that day (unless specified) to arrive the following day. You will also be able to select an optional delivery date for your convenience before finalizing your order. There will be a $15 surcharge for Saturday deliveries; we do not ship orders for delivery on Sunday or Monday.

Do you deliver on Saturdays?

Yes. Order must be received by Friday before 2 pm will be given the option of a Saturday delivery. There is a $15 surcharge, which is what our shippers charge us.

How long will my fish last?

Your fish should be refrigerated or frozen immediately upon delivery. Refrigerated seafood should be consumed within 3 days of delivery.

Can I freeze fish?

Yes. When freezing product, seal in a freezer bag, carefully assuring that there are no air pockets. Frozen product should be used within three months. Frozen fish should be thawed in the refrigerator.

When will my order arrive?

Typically, orders will be delivered before 5 pm. A FedEx or On Trac tracking number is emailed to you upon shipment, and your order can be tracked through their websites: www.FedEx.com and www.OnTrac.com.

When will my order arrive?

All orders that are received Monday-Thursday by 2PM PST are shipped same day unless specified. Any orders after 2PM will be shipped the following day except for orders placed on Friday, orders placed on Friday that do not designate Saturday delivery (extra charges applies) will be shipped on Monday for Tuesday arrival.

Can I ship to a business address?

Yes, you can get your items shipped to you at work! Please keep in mind that we only get an estimated time of delivery and cannot guarantee delivery during the business hours. We suggest that if the business closes before 5PM you ship your items to a residential address. That way your package doesn’t sit waiting beyond the intended shipping period.

What if my shipment is delayed, and arrives later than anticipated?

Due to an increase in shipment during holidays, some packages may be delayed. Weather can also cause a delay; your products are ensured up to 48 hours with gel packs in an insulated package. If your shipment takes longer than 48 hours , please email us and we will resolve the issue.

Can I send fresh seafood as a gift?

Most certainly! We receive many gift orders; it is very easy to do! When checking out just put the address of whom you are gifting the seafood to, if you want us to include a message in the box please let us know in the special instruction field of the checkout.

Can I order in large quantities from Daily Fresh Fish?

Of course! We love special orders, please email us for more information and large quantity discounts. We look forward to helping you with all your seafood needs!

How should I cook my seafood?

Fish and shellfish are easy to cook. Please check our recipe page for specific methods for each fish. We continue to add new recipes to our website. The best method of determining if your fish is cooked correctly is to measure internal temperature using and instant read thermometer. USDA recommends that fish be cooked to an internal temperature of 145◦ F. Be sure to allow your fish a few minutes of resting time before serving.

Can fish be grilled?

Absolutely! And it’s easy. Our team at DailyFreshFish loves to grill. Firmer fish such as salmon, swordfish, ahi tuna and halibut hold up best. Simple marinades can taste great, but with a good fresh fish such as ours, can be most delectable if grilled only with salt and pepper. Don’t forget shrimp that can serve as a fantastic appetizer right from your grill.
