It can range in color from deep red all the way to white. King salmon meat is firm and moist and has a characteristic large flake size that is much prized by chefs. King salmon so delicious and fresh it practically melts in your mouth. This is the finest salmon you can buy and Daily Fresh Fish has chosen the finest of the catch for you.

King Salmon, also known as Chinook has firm and moist meat. Salmon is highly popular fish, for it has many great health benefits when consumed. It is low in Sodium and is also a good source of Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6 and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Protein, Vitamin B12 and Selenium.

Teriyaki Salmon


  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 2.5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2.5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup mirin (rice wine) or dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • Directions

    1. Cut the salmon crosswise into 1-inch strips.

    2. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl.

    3. Heat broiler. Arrange the salmon skin-side down in a broiling pan and brush with the sauce. Cook 2 minutes and brush again.

    4. Repeat until the salmon is just flaky, about 10 minutes total.
